Become a World Class Traffic Control Flagger! We offer weekly certification classes in multiple locations. We have immediate openings for motivated individuals. Benefits include premium pay, night differential, prevailing wage, and storm work. Prove your dedication to earn opportunities into our truck program or to become a TCS. Although this is a part-time, variable hour position, 65% of our employees work over 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willing to obtain a Traffic Control Flagger Card
• Valid Washington State driver's license
• Dependable vehicle (most work locations are not accessible by public transportation)
• Pass a drug screening and criminal background check

Job Responsibilities

• Standing on cement and various surfaces for extended periods, possibly 8-12 hours, in weather conditions including hot and cold temperatures while signaling with a paddle
• Bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling regularly
• Reaching above head with full upper mobility
• Lifting and carrying 10 lbs continuously, 30 lbs occasionally, and up to 50 lbs rarely
• Following specific instructions and communicating effectively with team members

Work Schedule & Conditions

Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 6 am - 6 pm, with a minimum commitment of 3 days per week. Overtime may be available. Willing to drive up to 50 miles to job sites. Hours are variable and not guaranteed.
