Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc is seeking a Protector to join a team at various job sites. No experience or degree required; training and ongoing support provided. You’ll set up traffic control devices, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and follow all safety protocols as part of a year-round outdoor role.

Expect shifts that may include nights, weekends, or emergency work. You’ll contribute to a safety-first culture, work with a dedicated crew, and grow into higher-responsibility positions as the company

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Must pass pre-hire drug screening (safety sensitive role).
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule; punctual for every shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and take equipment down.
• Operate stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor job site activity.
• Follow safety rules learned in training at all times.
• Communicate clearly with crew and supervisor.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe; work outdoors year-round.
• Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work as needed.
