Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is seeking a Protector to work on site at traffic management job sites. No experience or degree required; training and safety-focused culture provided. You’ll set up cones, signs, and barricades, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and stay aware of site activity.

Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work. Expect 8–12 hour shifts outdoors in all weather, with safety equipment provided and boots of your own required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Willing to work in traffic and changing weather.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and remove traffic control equipment.
• Use a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and observe site activity.
• Follow safety rules learned in training.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Work outdoors year round in all weather.
• Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work.
• Stand or walk 8–12 hours per shift.
