RoadSafe Traffic Systems in Athens, Ohio, is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger II to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones. You will set up and remove traffic signs, cones and barricades, using hand signals and paddles to guide motorists safely.

This non-exempt, full-time role requires outdoor work in varying weather, ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and travel statewide.

Qualifications

• ATSSA Flagger training completed and valid.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• DOT requirements must be met.
• Wear proper safety equipment at all times.
• Operate 2-way radio and communicate clearly.
• Willingness to travel statewide and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and traffic devices around work areas.
• Manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Maintain clear communication with team via radios.
• Stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Drive company vehicles to job sites for equipment transport.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and safety checks.
