Job Details

Position: Traffic Control Field Flagger/Helper

Pay Range: $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Scope of Job

The Field Flagger/Helper assists drivers in executing work orders efficiently, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform stretch and flex exercises.
• Report to Dispatch with team member information.
• Assist drivers with pulling and loading trucks as per work orders.
• Ensure trucks are correctly loaded and clean.
• Help set up work orders according to TXDOT and MUTCD standards.
• Train with drivers to acquire driving skills.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to understand and perform daily tasks.
• Work well under pressure and with diverse team members.
• Comfortable working on high-speed roads.
• Ability to read traffic control plans and communicate professionally.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds, with frequent exertion of 30 pounds and constant exertion of 10 pounds.
• Good visual acuity for operating machinery and performing tasks.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and near hazards.
