Job summary

AWP Safety is seeking a Protector to work with a crew at traffic job sites in California. No experience or degree is required; comprehensive training is provided and safety comes first. You will set up cones, signs, and barricades, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and stay alert to changing conditions outdoors.

Shifts include nights, weekends, or emergency work; you may stand 8–12 hours per shift and wear provided safety gear. A valid license is required to drive to sites.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver\'s license.
• Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule; Show up on time, every shift.
• Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test.

We give you a hard hat, safety goggles, a safety vest, safety whistle, walkie talkie, and cold/hot weather gear: you bring your own steel toe safetyboots that go above the ankle.
