Job summary

Helix Traffic is seeking a dedicated individual to support roadway signing and traffic control projects on-site. This full-time role includes on-the-job training and a pay rate of $15–$30 per hour, with immediate opportunities to contribute to safe, efficient project execution.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining devices, reading plans to position signs, and performing related signing work such as striping and detour management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Traffic Control Technician or Traffic Control Supervisor training is preferred; training may be provided during employment.

Position Summary

The selected candidate will perform a variety of duties related to roadway signing and traffic control projects. On-the-job training will be provided.

• Set and maintain traffic control throughout project duration, ensuring devices remain in proper location and working condition.

Job Requirements

• Reliable attendance with the ability to report to work on time each day.
• Dependable transportation to and from the job site.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including high and low temperatures.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
