Helix Traffic Solutions, LLC is seeking a dedicated team member to assist with roadway signing and traffic control projects in Indiana. The role involves on-site work, following plans, and supporting safety-driven operations to protect workers and drivers alike.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining traffic control devices, reading plans, and ensuring devices are properly located and functional.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain traffic control devices on or adjacent to job sites.
• Set and maintain traffic control throughout project duration, ensuring devices remain in proper location and working condition.
• Install signs by hoisting into place and fastening to frameworks.
• Read and work from plans to accurately locate, drive posts, and position signs.
• Perform signing work including delineators, pavement striping, and detours.
• Service, maintain, and repair traffic control devices as needed.

Position Summary

The selected candidate will perform a variety of duties related to roadway signing and traffic control projects. On‑the‑job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain traffic control devices on or adjacent to job sites.
• Set and maintain traffic control throughout project duration, ensuring devices remain in proper location and working condition.
• Install prefabricated directional and informational signs by hoisting into place and fastening to frameworks.
• Read and work from plans to accurately locate, drive posts, and position signs.
• Perform related signing work, including delineators, pavement striping, striping removal, reflective pavement markers, lane closures, and detours.
• Service, maintain, and repair equipment and traffic control devices as needed.

Job Requirements

• Reliable attendance with the ability to report to work on time each day.
• Dependable transportation to and from the job site.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including high and low temperatures.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Traffic Control Technician or Traffic Control Supervisor training is preferred; however, training may be provided during employment.
