Helix Traffic Solutions in Indiana is seeking a dependable Traffic Control professional to join the Highway Safety Services team. The role focuses on installing and maintaining traffic control devices, reading plans, and ensuring safe work zones throughout the workday.

Responsibilities include setting up lane closures, performing sign installation, and coordinating with crews. Candidates should have a valid driver's license, be able to lift up to 100 pounds, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Traffic Control Technician or Supervisor training is preferred; however, training may be provided during employment.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain traffic control devices on or adjacent to job sites.
• Set and maintain traffic control throughout project duration, ensuring devices remain in proper location and working condition.
• Install prefabricated directional and informational signs by hoisting into place and fastening to frameworks.
• Read and work from plans to accurately locate, drive posts, and position signs.
• Perform related signing work, including delineators, pavement striping, striping removal, reflective pavement markers, lane closures, and detours.
• Service, maintain, and repair equipment and traffic control devices as needed.
