Job summary

Superior Traffic Control, LLC in Cordova, TN is hiring for a hands-on traffic control position. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 80 lbs, stand and sit for long shifts, and reliable transportation.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to work nights and weekends as needed. You will operate hand tools and assist with paperwork, follow directions from supervision, and comply with safety policies around live traffic.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift 80 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods (8+ hours).
• Must be able to sit for extended periods (8+ hours).
• Must be able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
• Must be able to work nights and/or weekends as requested.
• Must be able to travel out of town as needed (infrequently), provided ample notice (48 hours) is given.
• Must have fine motor skills and hand dexterity (tightening nuts, bolts, etc.).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screenings.
• Must exhibit good judgment in the field and adhere to safety policies around live traffic.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to operate motorized hand tools and equipment.
• Must be able to accurately use rulers and calculate measurements.
• Must have a cooperative, team player attitude.
