Superior Traffic Control, LLC is hiring a Traffic Control Apprentice in Baton Rouge. You will support traffic control operations, handle hand tools, and assist with measurements while adhering to safety standards around live traffic.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, reliability, and willingness to work nights or weekends. Company promotes from within and values team players across sites in the region.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift 80 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours and sit for 8+ hours.
• Must be able to work nights and/or weekends as requested.
• Must be able to travel out of town occasionally with notice.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
• Must follow supervisor directions and company procedures.
• Must have cooperative, team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with traffic control operations at work sites.
• Operate motorized hand tools and equipment as required.
• Measure and document jobsite parameters using rulers.
• Follow safety protocols around live traffic.
