Job summary

Helix Traffic Solutions, LLC is seeking a Traffic Control Apprentice to maintain traffic flow around construction zones in Maine. Offering $20/hour, this role requires clear communication skills and a focus on safety.

The ideal candidate is reliable, enjoys hands-on work, and can handle outdoor conditions. Training is provided, and both part-time and full-time positions are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours).
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Traffic control/Flagger Certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Control vehicle and pedestrian traffic around work zones.
• Set up and maintain temporary traffic control work zones.
• Communicate with drivers to ensure safe traffic flow.
• Monitor traffic and respond to potential safety hazards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols including wearing PPE.
