Job description

Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments. Plan and direct driver’s assignments, including checking them in, assigning their doors, and checking them out once the load is complete.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Serve as the first point of contact for delivery drivers.
2. Receive, count, and log cash received by carriers (if applicable).
3. Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and on time.
4. Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in the system.
5. Notify carriers and team members of pending, no-shows, and unscheduled arrivals.
6. Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary.
7. Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

1. Basic math skills may be required at some facilities.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with internal and external customers; English proficiency may be required.
3. Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage, while wearing PPE and freezer gear (may be required at some facilities).
5. May be required to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.; weight may vary depending on the facility.
6. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
7. Comfortable with various noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.
