Shift Information
2nd shift – 3:00PM to 11:00PM, Monday‑Friday. Training will be on 1st shift – 6:00AM to 2:30PM.
Pay – $21.00 – $23.00 an hour.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Plan and direct driver assignments, checking them in, assigning their doors, and checking them out once the load is complete.
- Serve as the first point of contact for delivery drivers.
- May receive, count, and log cash received by carriers.
- Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and promptly.
- Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in the system.
- Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no‑show, or unscheduled arrivals.
- Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary.
- Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with general loading and unloading tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock area.
- Participate in safety and compliance training.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
- Basic math skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from –20°F (–25°C) in cold storage to 100°F (37°C) in dry storage while wearing company‑provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
- May be required to lift a minimum of 20lbs (9kg); weight may vary by facility.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
- Comfortable with varying noise levels, which may sometimes be loud.
Pay Range
$16.97 – $28.65 per hour, depending on location and experience.
