VCU Health seeks a Traffic Attendant to maintain safe traffic flow and direct vehicle activity using signals and clear communication. The role requires being able to control traffic with minimal supervision and to work in all types of weather in a hospital setting.
Preferred candidates have about one year of experience as a flagger and must meet physical requirements, including lifting 20–50 lbs and prolonged standing and walking. Recertification will be required every two years.
The Traffic Attendant maintains the flow of traffic in a safe and efficient manner while utilizing hang signals or other methods of communication to direct vehicle activity and promote a safe environment.
