Job summary

Garver Engineering seeks a Traffic Analysis Engineer in Fayetteville, AR to support our growing traffic and transportation planning team. 5–10 years of related experience and a PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months) are preferred.

You will work on projects for DOTs and municipal clients and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams. The role offers growth opportunities, mentorship, and a client-focused environment with strong communication expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited engineering program.
• 4–8 years of experience with traffic-specific projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Working knowledge of the Highway Capacity Manual & Trip Generation Manual.
• Experience with capacity analysis, traffic projections, and safety analysis (including HSM).
• Experience with traffic simulation programs (VISSIM, CORSIM, etc.), Synchro, and HCS.
• Experience analyzing intersections, interchanges, and roundabouts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Preparing summary documentation and reports.

• Preparing project proposals and supporting project pursuits.

Traffic Analysis Engineer

Fayetteville, AR

Garver is seeking a highly-motivated Traffic Analysis Engineer in our Fayetteville, AR office to add to our growing traffic and transportation planning team. The ideal candidate would have 5-10 years of related experience, a sharp technical background, and strong passion for the profession. The position will offer the candidate an opportunity to play a key role in analyzing and designing exciting projects for our DOT and municipal clients across our client footprint. Applicants must have excellent communication skills with a commitment to becoming a key member of this highly productive design team. This position will be supervised by a Senior Project Manager and offers outstanding growth opportunity and career advancement to the right individual.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in civil engineering
• Experience in Transportation planning and travel demand modeling (TransCAD)
• Experience using ArcGIS for data analysis including review of large sets of crash data to spatial map and analyze for trends and clusters.
• Experience with pedestrian and bicycle improvement projects and studies
• Experience in marketing and managing local government projects
• Experience working with MODOT and municipalities in Missouri
• Certification as a PTOEand/or RSP
