Job summary

MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU) seeks an Admissions Counselor & Recruiter for the Traditional Undergraduate Admissions team. The role drives enrollment growth by recruiting well-matched students aligned with MNU’s Christ-centered mission, guiding them from inquiry to first day of class.

The counselor will manage a high-volume territory, conduct outreach through calls, texts, email, and visits, and advise families on programs, financial aid, and campus life within a faith-driven context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3+ years of progressive sales/admissions experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume recruitment territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to generate inquiries and applications.
• Conduct high school visits, college outreach, and community recruitment.
• Build relationships with counselors, pastors, alumni, and influencers.
• Serve as primary advisor to prospective students and families.
• Utilize Slate CRM to manage pipeline activity and reporting.
• Collaborate with marketing, financial aid, and academic departments.
