Job summary

DWS is offering a 2-year Traditional Investments Graduate program in New York, starting September 6, 2027. The program begins with onboarding in Frankfurt, then rotations across trading, fixed income, equities and ETF areas.

You will work with portfolio managers, analysts and global teams to gain hands-on investment experience in a fast-moving world of assets. Ideal candidates have strong Excel skills, a demonstrated interest in markets, and a willingness to develop financial modeling

Qualifications

• Minimum of intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong interest in financial markets evidenced by coursework or relevant experiences.
• Financial modeling and analysis preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of traditional asset class portfolios for cash investing to investment grade to high yield to equities.
• Support portfolio managers with trade execution, portfolio trades and credit default swap orders in compliance with trading procedures and portfolio guidelines.
• Monitor public bond market, assess relative value and provide investment recommendations.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, broker-dealers and market participants.
• Participate in internal meetings with portfolio managers and research used in investment decisions.
• Work on ETF/index concepts in collaboration with index providers.
• Interact with clients, index providers and business partners.
• Contribute to production and promotion of thought leadership and marketing material.
• Run product and market analytics such as wallet studies and peer/benchmark metrics.
• Collaborate with client coverage teams to discuss opportunities and market events.
