Job summary

Tradition, a Transforming Age community located in Brooklyn Park, MN, is hiring housekeepers to maintain resident accommodations and shared spaces while delivering friendly, attentive service.

You will assist with laundry, keep carts organized, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. No prior senior-living experience required, but a positive, can-do attitude is essential.

CPR/First Aid may be required; background check and pre-employment screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ at start date.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in senior living or hospitality not required but desired.
• Upbeat, can-do attitude and strong written/verbal communication.
• Passion for customer service and resident experience.
• CPR and First Aid training may be required per state/local guidelines.
• Background check and pre-employment screenings may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Maintain and tidy resident accommodations and shared spaces.
• Assist with laundry services as needed.
• Keep housekeeping carts and closets neat and stocked.
• Maintain equipment in good condition and provide great resident service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Our Housekeepers

• Ensure we provide fantastic customer service and care for our resident accommodations and shared spaces
• Assist with laundry services occasionally as needed.
• Keep housekeeping carts and closets neat, organized, and filled
• Keep equipment maintained, up
• Provide excellent Customer Service to our residents
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed

• Must be 18 years of age at time of start.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Previous experience in a senior living community or hospitality setting is not required, but is highly desired!
• An upbeat, fun, outgoing personality and can-do attitude
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have a passion for customer service and providing the best experience for our residents!
• CPR and First Aid training may be required per state/local guidelines.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen, may be required to complete other pre-employment screenings such as physical, fingerprint, and TB test as required by state/local guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• May occasionally need to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
