Job summary

Old Mission in Chicago offers an internship program for current students to work alongside our software engineers, creating impactful solutions for trading initiatives. You’ll gain hands-ons experience developing C++ based trading applications and tools, with exposure to how our business runs beyond observation.

You will learn alongside engineers, traders and other teams, and have the chance to contribute to real projects that matter to the firm day to day.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in CS, CE, or a similar technical field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Strong work ethic and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• At least junior standing with expected graduation Dec 2027 or May 2028.
• Comfortable with C++, Python or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Support development of C++ trading applications and tools.
• Work on hands-on projects that contribute to daily activities.
• Learn about creative programming and the tools for electronic trading.
• Collaborate with engineers, traders and other teams on meaningful projects.
