Job summary

Schonfeld is hiring a Trading and Systematic Advisory Compliance Officer in New York. This role focuses on regulatory compliance for market infrastructure, trading activities, and systematic strategies including Delta 1, index arbitrage, and macro trading.

You will work with global teams, engaging in trading venue rules, cross-asset classes, and technology stacks supporting quantitative strategies. A Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years’ experience in systematic trading compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5-7 years’ experience in a multi-manager firm covering systematic trading or similar strategies.
• Practical knowledge of market structures, products, quantitative methods, models, and data analysis techniques.
• Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Capable of managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Adaptable, problem-solver, and collaborative communicator.
• Familiarity with AI elements and some coding capability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as point of contact and manage key relationships with business line partners for Compliance.
• Provide compliance advice and training to investment personnel on their activities; manage live trading queries with timely, risk-based responses.
• Review and input into the approval for new investment instruments, products, strategies, technology, models, venues, and trading activities.
• Serve as compliance SME for relevant business change initiatives including acquisitions.
• Escalate for program monitoring, testing, risk assessments, trade surveillance, and control evaluations.
