We offer outsourced family office experience for our high-net worth clients that places us at the center of a client’s financial life by focusing on asset management and customized financial planning solutions. Presidio is a team made up of 20 full-time employees comprised of 8 advisors and 12 supporting staff members.

Hightower provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations, and family offices, and 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations. Hightower's capital solutions, operational support services, size and scale empower its vibrant community of independent-minded wealth advisors, like Presidio, to grow their businesses and help their clients achieve their vision of "well-th rebalanced." Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).

What You’ll Do

• Execute equity, fixed income, mutual funds, and ETF trades observing client investment strategies and firm policies.
• Work with advisors and portfolio managers to implement trades efficiently.
• Monitor trade execution, ensuring best practices, accuracy, and compliance with custodial and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with private investments team to raise cash for private investment capital calls.
• Maintain and update trade blotters, trade confirmations, and reconciliation reports.
• Conduct account rebalancing, equity and fixed income block trading, and allocations to client accounts.
• Monitor money movement or systematic withdrawal alerts, margin balances, at Schwab and Fidelity.
• Maintain Black Diamond Rebalancer trading system, including strategies, client account strategy assignments, cash buffers, and position restrictions.
• Maintain and track Dollar Cost Averaging and/or cash deployment list for clients with staggered deployment schedules.
• Design, implement, and run ad hoc reports including account cash balances.
• Work with the Presidio Investment Committee on Portfolio Updates based on changes in market outlook.
• Work with Advisors on reviews of prospective client portfolios concerning how we would transition and onboard to Presidio portfolios (investment and tax related ideas).
• Communicate with custodians (Schwab and Fidelity) to troubleshoot and resolve trading-related issues.
• Stay informed about market conditions, order routing, and trade execution strategies.
• Assist with cash management, trade settlements, and corporate action processing.
• Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, and other regulatory bodies related to trading activities.
• Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to refine and enhance trading workflows.
• Portfolio analysis for prospective clients.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of trading experience within a wealth management or registered investment advisory (RIA) firm.
• Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Charles Schwab and/or Fidelity’s trading platforms and custodial procedures.
• Licenses: Series 65 or 66 required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in trading software, portfolio management systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple trades while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with advisors, clients, and custodians.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot trading issues and implement efficient solutions.
