Position Summary

The successful candidate for the Trading Solutions Engineer role will possess a strong understanding of trading platforms and experience in client onboarding, implementation, and training. This role involves understanding client needs, configuring Adhesion solutions accordingly, and ensuring clients are well-equipped to utilize the platform for growth. Key responsibilities include trading pre-sales support, demonstrations, solution configuration, onboarding, and advanced trading support for existing clients.

This position is ideal for a motivated professional with a positive attitude, a customer-centric approach, and extensive trading knowledge to make a positive impact on advisors' businesses.

Work Location: Hybrid work schedule considered near Phoenix, AZ, or Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with sales and clients to understand trading requirements and challenges during pre-sale support.
  2. Demonstrate expertise in trading systems, technologies, and solutions to assist clients in decision-making.
  3. Assess client trading needs and manage configuration, training, and setup for prospects and existing clients, including strategies, tax management, drift parameters, and rebalancing rules.
  4. Prepare and deliver trading demonstrations highlighting the platform's value and capabilities tailored to client needs.
  5. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth client transitions and ongoing support.
  6. Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and competitors to add value for sales and clients.
  7. Conduct training sessions for new clients on platform functionalities to enable informed trading decisions.
  8. Provide post-onboarding trading support to address client questions and issues.
  9. Work with sales and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction and smooth transitions.
  10. Collect and analyze client feedback for process improvements.
  11. Participate in resolving and enhancing customer experience cases.
  12. Trade accounts periodically to maintain comprehensive trading knowledge.
  13. Assist with ad-hoc projects, data analysis, and strategic initiatives.
  14. Identify and communicate risks proactively to leadership.
  15. Create knowledge articles and documentation explaining trading processes for internal and customer-facing use.
  16. Review and update external trading documentation regularly for accuracy.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Experience in client onboarding or training, preferably in finance.
  • Strong understanding of trading platforms and financial markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Sound judgment and timely decision-making skills.
  • Experience with Vestmark & APL Trading tools.
  • Familiarity with Jira.
  • Strong Excel skills.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years in operations, trade reconciliation, or similar financial role.

Compensation: The base salary ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, with potential for incentive bonuses and benefits.
