Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Chicago is seeking a senior manager to lead the futures and derivatives clearing operations team, ensuring precise trade capture, allocation and reconciliation across CME Group, ICE and OCC.

You will oversee controls, sign-off, and strict regulatory compliance. The role focuses on driving efficiency, leading market-specific clearing projects, and collaborating with front office, trading desks, technology, compliance, legal, and other operations teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration/related field with several years of experience in trading services management.
  • Experience applying regulatory rules (CFTC, NFA, exchanges) within operational workflows.
  • Experience operating exchange interfaces (CME FEC, ICE FEC, OCC Encore).
  • Experience with Fidelity Investor Services applications (ClearVision, FIS Cleared Derivatives, GMI).
  • Proven ability to streamline workflows, automate processes and implement controls to review KPIs and SOPs.
  • Experience developing and enhancing exchange reconciliations using Alteryx workflows.

Responsibilities

Job description

DESCRIPTION

Duties: Manage the futures and derivatives clearing operations team, ensuring precise trade capture, allocation, and reconciliation across exchanges, clients, and clearing houses such as CME Group, ICE, and OCC. Ensure the timely completion, review, and sign-off of all operational controls, while maintaining strict compliance with CFTC, NFA, and relevant exchange regulations. Lead and manage market-specific clearing projects, driving initiatives that focus on innovation, operational efficiency, and the exploration of new business opportunities. Identify and implement process improvements across trade and client workflows, collaborating with internal stakeholders including front office, trading desks, technology, compliance, legal, and other operations teams. Address and resolve client escalations and ad hoc inquiries from clients, legal, compliance, and audit functions. Supervise daily team activities, including workload distribution, performance feedback, personnel actions, and cross-training initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Trading Services Manager, Associate/Transaction Processing Manager, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Trading Services Manager, Associate/Transaction Processing Manager, or related occupation.
