Raymond James Financial, Inc. in New York is seeking a Trading Associate (open to both registered and non-registered candidates) who under supervision assists trading and sales staff in processing trades and communicating with clients and back-office teams. The role may place orders on behalf of brokers.

Responsibilities include tracking transactions, preparing reports, supporting client meetings, and assisting in compliance reviews, with ongoing client interaction and workflow optimization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3 years in a sales or trading role within the securities or financial services industry.
SIE required; Series 7/63 or international equivalent.

Responsibilities

Tracks and confirms transactions to ensure accuracy.
Prepares management reports as required.
Serves as liaison between client and sales/trading personnel.
Assists in compliance review process.
Executes trades and supports client meetings.
Maintains and updates account files.
