Job summary

DRW, a Chicago-based trading firm, is seeking a Trading Application Specialist to join the UP - Exchange and Vendor Management team. You will help integrate best-in-class technology across multiple desks and asset classes, focusing on front-office tools, OMS/EMS, and venue connectivity in a fast-paced environment.

Location is Chicago (hybrid – three days in the office). You will build dashboards, evaluate platform options, manage vendor relationships, and support onboarding while collaborating

Qualifications

• Familiarity with AI-native toolkits to ingest and analyze trading data.
• Knowledge of the trading industry across multiple strategies.
• Familiarity with execution, market data, and risk management terminology.
• Experience with order and execution management systems (OMS/EMS).
• Ability to manage multiple, unrelated requests in short timelines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to build out analytical dashboards for vendor/counterparty performance using established metrics.
• Coordinate with vendors on queries/requests outside front-line production support.
• Analyze platform options to support new trading opportunities, including cost and feature trade-offs.
• Assist onboarding of new platforms with Traders, PMs, and Ops teams.
• Provide platform demos to users and gather feedback.
• Review vendor platform usage and identify optimization opportunities.
• Maintain a wiki of vendor platforms and track operating expenses.
