Job summary

Hudson River Trading (HRT) seeks an Electronic Trading Support Engineer to join the TradeOps team in NYC. You will monitor and optimize the live trading platform, interface with exchanges, and respond to market alerts during US hours.

The role requires strong communication, independent work in a fast-paced environment, and scripting knowledge (Python/Perl/Bash). A quantitative bachelor’s degree is expected, with familiarity in UNIX systems and market data workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills and client interfacing.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Understanding of Market Data/Order Entry systems is a plus.
