The Bachrach Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading hedge fund for a Trading Operations Analyst in Fairfield County, CT. The role supports trade processing across equities, fixed income, FX and derivatives, ensuring timely settlement and accurate confirmations.

You will monitor daily activity, reconcile breaks, generate management reports, and collaborate with portfolio managers and risk teams to resolve trade issues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in trading operations or a related financial services role.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and asset classes (equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to work on site 5 days per week in Fairfield County, CT.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive trade support for all asset classes, including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange for related cash and derivatives.
• Monitor and reconcile daily trading activity, identifying and resolving trade breaks and errors promptly.
• Generate and distribute daily trading activity reports to management, providing clear and concise summaries of key metrics.
• Collaborate closely with portfolio managers and risk managers to address trade-related inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Ensure accurate and timely trade settlement and confirmation processes.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of market regulations and compliance requirements.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
