Job summary

Wolverine Trading, LLC in Chicago, IL seeks an Information Systems Manager to lead IS and Helpdesk in a high‑availability trading environment. You will own enterprise systems, ensure reliability, performance, and security across the firm’s infrastructure.

Responsibilities include directing teams, managing AD/Exchange, cloud platforms, AI adoption, and virtualization, while coordinating with security and network teams for compliance and high availability.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive operational IT experience in mission-critical environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS or related field required.
2+ years leading or managing systems/infrastructure teams.
Expertise in Microsoft Server, 365, identity and access management, and cloud
Experience with VMware, storage, backups, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

Lead Information Systems and Helpdesk teams; set technical direction and mentorship.
Oversee AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, backups, storage, and endpoint protection.
Architect and manage Microsoft cloud ecosystem; hybrid connectivity with on-prem.
Drive adoption of AI capabilities to improve business workflows.
Manage virtualization platforms, deployments, migrations, and upgrades.
Collaborate with Network and Security teams for a secure, compliant environment.
Escalation point for complex infrastructure issues and incident response.
