Job summary

AAA Global in Chicago, IL seeks a Windows Server Team Lead to design, build, and operate scalable, latency-sensitive infrastructure. You will lead a team of engineers across Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, and failover clustering, with on-prem and hybrid cloud exposure.

Responsibilities include automation via PowerShell and IaC, leading incident response and post-mortems, and guiding capacity planning for peak market activity. Hybrid work with strong in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years Windows Server administration in high-availability environments.
• Deep expertise in AD, DNS, DHCP, and Failover Clustering with tuning.
• Proven leadership of infrastructure teams and setting standards.
• Strong PowerShell automation and IaC/config Mgmt experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Windows Server engineers and set priorities.
• Design and implement Windows Server solutions for availability and latency-sensitive workloads.
• Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Lead AD modernization and hybrid identity initiatives.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Development teams.
• Lead incident response, RCA, and preventative follow-up.
• Contribute to resource forecasting and performance planning.
• Participate in on-call rotation and leadership during high-severity incidents.
