Trexquant Investment LP is seeking a Data Operations Engineer to join our team with a strong operational focus. The role emphasizes monitoring trading processes, optimizing data workflows, and refining deployment practices to improve overall efficiency.

Collaborate with research and engineering to implement monitoring, CI/CD, QA measures, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. The position offers on-site opportunities in Stamford, CT and New York, NY.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and Linux fundamentals are a must.
• Experience with SQL is an advantage.
• Prior development experience in fault-tolerant distributed or data-intensive applications is a plus.
• Process-driven with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot operations to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain data pipelines and deployment procedures for data/alpha/strategy generation.
• Establish quality controls and audit production lines to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional improvement projects to boost production efficiency.
