Job summary

DCSports87 in Virginia is hiring part-time Trading Card Processors to pull, sort, and process trading cards and collectibles for customers. Every card belongs to a customer, and accuracy matters for thousands of dollars in value.

You will enter inventory data, sleeve and package cards, and help with order fulfillment. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a high school diploma.

• Keep inventory storage and retrieval organized.
• Help with order fulfillment, packaging, and shipping.
• Follow security procedures for handling high-value cards.
• Work with your team to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.

DCSports87 is the largest eBay sports card store in the world! Selling about 110,000 cards every week for collectors around the world. We're family-run, we're growing fast, and we're hiring part-time Trading Card Processors to help us keep up.

About the role

As a Trading Card Processor, you'll pull, sort, organize, and process trading cards and collectibles for our customers. Every card belongs to a customer, and some are worth thousands of dollars, so attention to detail and careful handling are everything. You'll play a key role in keeping our inventory accurate and getting cards ready for sale quickly.

Schedule

• Early Day:7:30am–3:30pm
• Day: 8am - 4pm
• Mid-day: 10:30am - 6:30pm
• Afternoon/Evening: 1pm - 9pm
• Late: 4pm - 12am
• Paid breaks: a paid 30-minute lunch and a paid 20-minute break

What you'll do

• Pull, sort, organize, and process incoming trading cards and collectible inventory
• Enter inventory data into company systems accurately
• Sleeve, top-load, package, and store cards to our handling standards
• Scan, photograph, and upload card images for inventory and online listings
• Keep inventory storage and retrieval organized
• Help with order fulfillment, packaging, and shipping
• Use our company website to sort incoming consignment packages and pull and process orders
• Follow security procedures for handling high-value cards
• Work with your team to meet productivity and quality goals
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent (if no longer in school)

• Ability to do repetitive work while keeping quality high

• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English to follow safety procedures and complete documentation
• Comfortable using computers, tablets, and other office equipment

Preferred:

• Experience with trading cards, collectibles, inventory, or data entry
• Knowledge of sports cards, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, or other collectible card products

Physical requirements

This position requires the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Standing, walking, or sitting for long periods
• Bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing stairs or ladders
• Repetitive hand and finger movements, such as sorting, sleeving, and typing
• Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 30 lbs frequently
• Close vision for inspecting small details, including telling colors apart
• Working in narrow aisles in a warehouse environment with some noise
