Headquartered in Midtown Manhattan (Fall 2026), we play a key role in global trade by leveraging our global sourcing network, strategically positioned inventory at major U.S. ports and river terminals, risk management solutions, and flexible financial services.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations & Trade Support Associate to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth execution of physical commodity transactions and optimizing operational processes. The ideal candidate enjoys problem solving in real time, thinks creatively under pressure, and takes ownership of outcomes.

You should have a reputation for getting to the answer quickly. Whether you are researching a problem, analyzing data, or preparing a report, you consistently deliver complete, well-thought-out results significantly faster than the average person, without compromising accuracy.

You are personable and comfortable building relationships with customers, suppliers, warehouses, carriers, and coworkers and understand that operational decisions have commercial consequences and use sound business judgment.

Core Responsibilities

Trade Operations & Execution

• Managing logistics and scheduling shipments, both domestic and international, to ensure smooth execution including on-time delivery at competitive costs.
• Communicating with clients, suppliers, warehouses, truckers, international brokers, and internal teams.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by monitoring order fulfillment and addressing inquiries proactively.
• Accurate record and input customer orders, shipping details, and trade-related data.
• Noticing details, connects information, and recognizes opportunities that others may overlook.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in trade operations, logistics, finance, or related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word) or similar tools.
• Analytical Ability: Strong numerical skills with an ability to assess and conduct market research and analyze market data
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on precise data management and accurate reporting.
• Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
