What We Do

This role provides various support functions for the Contractor Relations team in the Home Warranty Division. Effectively manage and coordinate the contractor hiring cycle from initial contact, gathering documents, and training on all FA policies and procedures to maintain customer satisfaction, service levels, and appropriate coverage levels. Answer questions regarding the entire hiring process, documenting each call. The lead will assist recruiters with gathering leads, reviewing insurance, completing hire packages, producing daily and monthly reports, and helping train team members on First American’s recruiting processes and procedures.

What You'll Do:

  1. Effectively manage and fill/close acquisition requests from area managers.
  2. Assist contractors with basic questions regarding home warranty procedures and policies.
  3. Consistently overcome contractor objections and partner with prospective contractors.
  4. Make outbound calls to contractors across the U.S. to market and sell the benefits of joining our contractor network.
  5. Set up both physical and digital contractor profiles.
  6. Follow up with all necessary parties to obtain required paperwork, including contractors, license boards, and insurance companies.
  7. Assist contractors with first-time billing through First American’s online contractor portal.
  8. Negotiate pricing with contractors within First American guidelines.
  9. Monitor reports to identify volume and potential contractor hiring needs to ensure coverage for territories.
  10. Train all new employees in First American’s procurement processes and procedures.
  11. Track and update all state license requirements.
  12. Assist existing contractors with processing company name changes, including updating physical and digital profiles.
  13. Verify that all documentation in the contractor hiring package is complete before approval.
  14. Research and distribute leads to the team regarding hard-to-hire areas.
  15. Assist the Manager in streamlining process flows and documenting Falcon changes and reporting tools.
  16. Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create new marketing strategies for First American to contractors.
  17. Assist the Manager in daily and monthly reporting on production.

What You'll Bring:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  2. Strong background and understanding of sales.
  3. Confidence in initiating phone calls and building relationships.
  4. Ability to evaluate contractors’ professionalism and customer focus.
  5. Experience working closely with contractors to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
  6. Ability to set clear expectations or decline offers as necessary.
  7. Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly.
  8. Home Warranty or real estate experience is desirable.

Salary Range:

$37,475 - $49,975

This range is an estimate of the base pay at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, business needs, and location.
