Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a motivated Trademark Prosecution Attorney in Madison, NJ with 1-3 years of experience to handle a diverse trademark portfolio and work closely with senior practitioners.

You will manage U.S. and international filings, analyze clearance searches, and draft Office Actions while advising clients on strategy and portfolio management in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of trademark prosecution experience in a law firm or in-house setting.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• New Jersey bar admission required; New York bar admission preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage U.S. and international trademark prosecution from clearance through registration.
• Conduct and analyze trademark searches and provide risk assessments.
• Draft and respond to Office Actions before the USPTO.
• Advise clients on trademark strategy, portfolio management, and enforcement.
• Coordinate with foreign associates on international filings and prosecution.
• Assist with trademark due diligence in corporate transactions.
