Job summary

Adams & Martin Group seeks a Trademark Associate in Chicago to join its Intellectual Property practice. The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of trademark experience and will handle domestic and international portfolio management, counseling, clearance, and enforcement for sophisticated clients.

You will work on brand strategy, licensing matters, TTAB proceedings, and online enforcement, collaborating with a premier IP team in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong research, writing, analytical abilities are essential.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience in trademark counseling, prosecution, and enforcement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage U.S. and international trademark portfolios for diverse clients.
• Provide counseling, clearance, and risk assessment for brands and launches.
• Handle domestic and international trademark prosecution activities.
• Draft and negotiate licensing and other trademark agreements.
• Develop brand enforcement strategies including cease-and-desist actions and online enforcement.
• Represent clients in TTAB proceedings, UDRP disputes, oppositions, and related litigation.
• Collaborate with clients on global brand protection and IP strategy.
