Job summary

Minnesota State College Southeast is seeking Adjunct Instructors for Trade and Technology to join a pooled, part-time pool serving one-semester or one-year appointments. Instructors will teach classroom and lab sections, depending on program needs, and contribute to a student-centered learning community.

The role requires maintaining accurate academic records in an LMS, including attendance and grades, and may include renewal based on program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field or equivalent education/industry standards.
• Minimum of two full-time years (or equivalent) paid work experience in the credential field, with at least one year in the last five years.
• Recency requirement can be waived if two years of postsecondary teaching experience occurred within the last five years.
• Current licensure, certification, or credentials essential for practice in the field.
• Program accreditation requirements must be met by faculty in the relevant trade/tech programs.
• Experience in curriculum development and course design; strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach classroom and lab instruction as assigned by the program.
• Maintain accurate academic records (attendance, grades, syllabi) in the LMS.
• Work as part of a team to create a positive learning environment and meet accreditation standards.
