A market-leading, global multi-manager hedge fund is looking to hire an Operations SME specific to its OTC derivatives trading desk, based in their Manhattan office.

This is a newly created position to support the firm’s OTC derivatives trading, working within a small, specialist operations team. The role combines middle office and trader assistant tasks, including trade bookings, trade capture and matching, investigating breaks and P&L issues, and working closely with the treasury team and prime brokers. The role also involves continuous process improvement and automation projects, along with ad-hoc tasks from senior management and traders. It is a business-facing position with high exposure to multiple investment professionals.

Candidates should ideally have 2-5 years of experience, from a hedge fund, investment bank, or fund administrator, with solid OTC/derivatives support experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a front-office environment are essential.

The role offers flexibility in base salary depending on experience, with significant bonus potential for top performers.

The firm provides WFH flexibility, allowing a 3-day office and 2-day WFH week if desired.
