Job summary

The Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield, KY is seeking a dedicated instructor to deliver career technical instruction per approved curricula and provide guidance to help students reach their academic goals.

You will develop lessons, motivate students, and coordinate with counselors to resolve training issues. Essential requirements include substitute teaching certification/license, two years of related experience, willingness to obtain OSHA 10 within 90 days, and a valid driver

• Substitute teaching certification/license required by state of employment.
• Two (2) years of work-related experience in the designated career training area.
• Willing to obtain OSHA 10 credential within first 90 days of employment.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.

• Coordinate with counselors and staff to resolve issues affecting student training and/or instruction.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and materials.

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for the career technical instruction per approved curricula. They will provide training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their academic goals.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Substitute teaching certification/license, as required by the state of employment.

• Willing to obtain the OSHA 10 credential within the first 90 days of employment, if needed.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
