Job summary

WAC Group in Port Washington, NY is seeking an Exhibit & Showroom Fabricator to read plans, construct tradeshow booths, and install interiors with a skilled team. The role involves precise carpentry, framing, cabinetry, and display fabrication for award-winning exhibits, with travel to sites and events as needed.

The position requires 5–10 years in carpentry/construction, strong tool skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of carpentry, construction or fabrication experience.
• Proficient using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans and specifications from digital and print files.
• Collaborate with designers and carpenters to construct tradeshow booths and set kits for on-time completion.
• Precisely measure, cut, and prepare materials using hand tools and power saws.
• Assemble, construct and install custom frameworks, walls, cabinetry, flooring, displays, and other interior finishes.
• Support exhibit setup, breakdown, and transport.
• Contribute solutions to improve processes and efficiency.
