Job summary

CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring immediately for non-CDL drivers in Orlando, FL. You will safely deliver, set up, and pick up furnishings and equipment at trade shows and events, operating box trucks or sprinter vans and supervising temporary staff.

Pay starts at $22 per hour, with overtime opportunities and a schedule that requires weekends. The role includes training, health benefits, and potential advancement within a promotable-from-within culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residency.
• Minimum 3 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger; 1 year preferred.
• Able to lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Able to comply with FMCSA regulations and DOT requirements.
• Able to read/speak English sufficiently for FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks safely and ensure correct loading order.
• Attend pre-delivery meetings and coordinate logistics with the operations team.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and prep trucks.
• Document logs and maintain records using an electronic logging device.
• Drive box trucks or sprinter vans on delivery routes.
• Install and assemble furniture per floor plans and client instructions.
• Provide onsite customer service and supervise temporary associates.
• Perform warehouse duties as needed.
