Job summary

Performance Trust Capital Partners, LLC (Chicago) is seeking an Analyst for Trade Settlements to join the Trade Ops team. The role focuses on end-to-end FCU processing, collateral margin management, and rapid resolution of discrepancies in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with business lines and clients to ensure accurate trade settlements, post-settlement breaks, and special handling requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree: Finance or Business preferred
• Excellence in written and oral communication
• Strong attention to detail and accountability
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and familiarity with financial markets/instruments
• 1–3 years’ industry experience, ideally in middle/back-office operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel); Bloomberg experience preferred
• Prior experience with Pershing NetX360 is a plus
• Driven by optimization and efficiency in processes
• FINRA SIE and Series 7 licensed within 120 days of hire
• Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the daily FCU (factor and coupon updates) process end-to-end
• Own and lead daily collateral margin management under FINRA Rule 4210
• Identify, research, and resolve FCU and collateral margin discrepancies; coordinate with counterparties, clients, and internal teams
• Maintain and improve documentation and checklists for FCU and collateral margin management
• Handle multiple customer and business line inquiries in a fast-paced environment
• Monitor and act on open items per daily task tracker and process guide
• Support email, reporting, and ad hoc business processes daily and monthly
• Build and maintain relationships; deliver excellent client service
• Proactively identify issues and propose solutions in day-to-day operations
• Provide timely updates and escalate issues to the team manager
• Cross-train with other areas within Clearing and Settlements
• Align with settlements team manager on new tasks as department expands
• Perform other duties as required
