Job summary

Talentify in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Trade Services Operations Specialist to join our Trade Services Desk. You will handle documentation for Letters of Credit and international trade transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procedures, from receipt to processing.

The role requires 4+ years in banking or financial operations, familiarity with LC documents, documentary collections, and proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of banking, securities, trade services, or financial operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with Letters of Credit preferred.
• Understanding of documentary collections and trade-processing workflows.
• Familiarity with international trade documentation for import/export movements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors in financial documents.

Responsibilities

• Review and process LC documentation and international trade transactions.
• Examine LC documents for accuracy, completeness, and authenticity.
• Support documentary collections and other trade services processes.
• Organize, open, and prepare incoming trade documentation and packages.
• Scan, capture, and maintain trade documents in internal systems.
• Route documentation according to instructions and procedures.
• Assist with bank-to-bank documentation for import/export transactions.
• Research escalated operational questions and improve workflows.
• Collaborate with banking and operations teams for timely processing.
