Excellent academics and writing ability are required; clerking or industry background is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience handling complex trade secret, restrictive covenant, unfair competition and technology-related disputes.
• Strong litigation experience, including drafting substantive motions, managing discovery, and taking or defending depositions.
• Excellent academic credentials and writing skills; prior experience at a peer law firm.
• Technical or scientific backgrounds and judicial clerkship experience are valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Join Gibson Dunn's Trade Secrets team to work on complex technology-related disputes.
• Draft motions, manage discovery, and take or defend depositions as part of ongoing litigation.
• Collaborate with partners and associates to develop litigation strategies and case prep.
