Job summary

Mountain West Windows and Doors in Phoenix, AZ seeks a skilled Trade Sales Consultant to build long-term relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and homeowners. The role focuses on high-volume, profitable sales while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and coordinating product applications, quotes, and orders.

You will showcase Marvin products, interpret blueprints, use PQM and MS Office to quote and order, and ensure installations meet manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA, AA or technical degree preferred.
  • 2-4 year’s sales, customer service, or general business experience preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of general construction applications and terminology and/or window and door applications or components is desirable.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be in compliance with the company Fleet Safety Policy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term relationships with builders, contractors, architects, trade organizations and clients.
  • Present Marvin product line at events and meetings to drive sales and market penetration.
  • Quote, sell and order products for remodeling and new construction projects using PQM and MS Office.
  • Ensure Marvin products are installed properly and delivery is timely and accurate.

About the Role

Trade Sales Consultants are charged with developing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with builders, contractors, architects, trade organizations and consumer clients and are responsible for all practices and aspects pertaining to generating a high-volume, profitable sales while achieving maximum market penetration with a high level of customer satisfaction. Special projects and other duties as assigned and based on business necessity.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all field activities and aspects relating to customer relations, product application, product sales and delivery, service and product installation instruction, collections, and striving for 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinates, promotes and advances the visibility and presence of the entire Marvin product line while maintaining a continual awareness of activity or news in the architectural and construction-related community.
  • Actively represents Mountain West Windows & Doors at company-sponsored events, at professional group’s invitations to discuss and/or present Marvin products, at trade association meetings, and at consumer home shows to promote Marvin products.
  • Able to present product demonstrations, accurately read, interpret and take-off blueprints, and to use electronic software and systems (PQM, MSOffice, etc.) to quote, sell and order products for remodeling and new construction residential and light commercial projects, and assist in providing prompt and on-time delivery.
  • Ensures that Marvin products are installed properly and in accordance with recommended guidelines of the manufacturer.
  • Follow up on leads generated by lead reports, window store generated and outstanding proposals.
  • Responsible for providing feedback regularly and upon request including but not limited to; wins and losses, competitive information, quality alerts as well as periodic special requests.
  • Responsible for mentoring newer team members and hosting Corp guests for field visits upon request.
  • Promotes and facilitates continuous improvement activities in the department.
