Desktop Support Technician with Tradefloor Support

Experience: 3+ years

Contract: 6-12+ Months

Requirement:

• Coordinate the Windows 11 migration project, tracking progress, gathering information, managing issues, and mitigating risks to ensure a smooth transition.
• Work closely with IT teams, partners, and other business departments to meet project and operational objectives.
• Upgrade trader workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
• Provide first-line technical support for the trading floor during the Windows 11 migration, responding promptly to requests and issues.
• Troubleshoot Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and other market data products.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support for trading applications.

Qualification:

• Experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial sector.
• Proficiency with Windows 10 and 11, Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, and Teams.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components such as Active Directory and printers.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Office 365, and other market data applications.
• Knowledge of Intune, Microsoft Autopilot, On-Prem AD, and Azure AD.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Proficiency with endpoint management tools like Microsoft SCCM, MDT.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint security practices.
• Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, Networking, and Endpoint Security.
• Experience with PowerShell and scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
