Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking an International Operations Analyst 2 in Columbus, OH to review, process, and service complex international trade finance transactions, focusing on Standby Letters of Credit.

You will liaise with Credit, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure accurate, compliant processing and timely servicing. The role offers exposure to ISBP/UCP standards, SWIFT messaging, and other trade finance products, with opportunities to participate in strategic initiatives and project

Qualifications

Experience in loan operations with due diligence, document prep, or examinations.
Ability to review credit applications for compliance and accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

Process Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC) transactions: issuance, amendments, drawings, renewals, cancellations.
Review SBLC applications and documents for completeness and compliance.
Collaborate with Credit, Commercial Banking, Legal, and Risk teams.
Monitor key dates, expirations, renewals, and drawing activity.
Identify discrepancies and resolve issues with stakeholders.
Provide guidance on SBLC and trade finance products to customers and partners.
Grow knowledge of documentary credits, collections, SWIFT, and ISBP/UCP.
Participate in cross-training and special projects.
