Job summary

Deutsche Bank in New York seeks an Assistant Vice President to lead Relationship & Transaction Management within Trade Finance Advisory & Services. You will advise clients on Standby L/Cs, Documentary L/Cs, collections and trade finance loans, ensuring compliance with ISP98, UCP600, URDG758 and AML/OFAC policies.

You will coordinate with Sales, Structuring, and clients, manage day-to-day activities, resolve inquiries, and ensure timely processing of transactions within policy timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business admin, or related field or equivalent.
• Extensive experience reviewing guarantees, letters of credit, and trade finance documents for compliance.
• Experience performing due diligence and AML/OFAC monitoring in trade finance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities for Trade Finance Advisory Services.
• Provide technical assistance to Sales, Structuring, Corporate Clients, and Banks on trade products.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams; resolve inquiries; escalate issues.
• Ensure transactions meet deadlines and internal controls.
