Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring incoming emails for troubleshooting, research, and resolution.
  • Runs reporting, summarizes, and tracks program status.
  • Supports meeting content, notes, action items.
  • Corresponding with third party and internal associates.
  • Monitor dashboards, create analyses, and communicate highlights.

Job Title: Trade Compliance Specialist

Job Duration: 06 Months contract

Location: Remote Framingham, MA, 01701

Pay Range: $35.00-42.00/hr on W2

Work Type: Remote

Overview

This position is fully remote out of our Framingham Massachusetts office. May be asked to come into the office for certain periodic incidences, for example quarterly meetings and yearly summits.

The CTPAT Contractor will directly support the Trade Compliance Program Manager. Responsibilities include supporting daily monitoring of cargo security at overseas shipping locations, monitoring and reporting on cargo security audit statuses, communications, and results, identifying and incorporating current and new shipping locations across a network of 50+ countries into the risk assessment system, updating weekly/monthly/quarterly readouts on overall program status, assisting with material creation on minimum security criteria requirements, helping with program initiatives such as creating and updating self-assessments, and supporting risk assessment processes and procedures including business partner denied party screening.

Responsibilities

  • Corresponding with third party and internal associates on the program.
  • Monitor dashboards in system, create analyses, and communicate highlights.
  • Back-up support for the area, supports the implementation of new processes.
  • Special projects and any support of each team as needed or requested.
  • Performs other duties as the need arises.
Requirements
  • Experience in a corporate setting.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel using V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
  • Ability to perform online research.
  • Willingness to learn, take direction well and be a team player.
  • Flexibility and positive attitude.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with clear and concise drafting skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and capable of efficiently balancing multiple projects, setting appropriate priorities.
  • Some college preferred but not required.
  • Some experience in logistics, transportation and customs preferred but not required.
