Job summary

Leonid Group Ltd is seeking a Trade Compliance Program Manager to own the trade compliance program for a U.S. business.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, Customer Service and Operations to ensure compliant operations across HTS, ECCN, and country of origin. You will lead audits, broker management, and regulatory inspections (CBP/BIS), turning regulatory changes into practical business actions, while building scalable policies and training for the wider

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Trade Compliance, Customs, Logistics Compliance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations.
• Hands-on experience with classifications, valuation, origin, FTAs and tariffs.
• Experience with audits, broker management and compliance programmes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable influencing stakeholders across a matrix organisation.
• Experience dealing with government enquiries or enforcement matters.
• U.S. residency required

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to person for trade compliance, balancing regulatory requirements with business needs.
• Your world will include import & export compliance across HTS, ECCN, Schedule B, valuation and country of origin.
• Handle FTAs, tariffs, AD/CVD and Section 301 as applicable.
• Manage denied-party screening and sanctions-related processes.
• Oversee trade compliance audits, controls and remediation.
• Manage customs broker performance and relationships.
• Collaborate with regulatory enquiries and government audits (CBP and BIS).
• Build policies, procedures and training that people actually use.
